ULVAC and Knights Engineering Explore Strategic Opportunities in Malaysia’s Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem

We were honored to welcome Mr. Setsuo Iwashita, CEO & President of ULVAC, Inc., and Mr. Alex Teh, Managing Director of ULVAC Singapore & Thailand, to Malaysia and to Knights Engineering Sdn. Bhd.
During their visit, the ULVAC delegation had the opportunity to visit our MTL workshop, gaining a closer look at our local vacuum pump service, technical facilities and the support we provide to customers in Malaysia.
The visit also included strategic engagements with InvestPenang and the Silicon Island team, where we exchanged views on Penang’s industrial landscape, semiconductor ecosystem, advanced manufacturing capabilities and future investment opportunities.

We also had the pleasure of hosting a private dinner with ULVAC and the Malaysian Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), providing an opportunity for deeper discussion and exchange of views on Malaysia’s semiconductor industry and future growth.
